What services do Colo5 colocations offer?
Equipment Co-Locating
We offer a variety of colocation services in the form of a “custom build” equipment housing program. This program allows our clients to choose half cabinets, full cabinets, custom cages by the square foot or multiple contiguous cabinets in which to house their hardware. Once the required space is determined, power, security, and network options can be chosen to meet your hardware’s usage requirements.

Disaster Recovery
In the event of a disaster that compromises your physical office space and/or data infrastructure, Colo5’s Jacksonville facility offers colocation clients disaster recovery space equipped with carpeting, lighting, restroom and locker room facilities, kitchenettes, cubicle partitions or separate key access offices, air conditioning, electrical outlets, high-speed internet connectivity, and of course connectivity to your on-site colocation equipment. This space can be accessed 24/7/365 per your contract and makes a great office away from the office for your team.

Office Solutions
Similar to our disaster recovery space, many clients have actually chosen to permanently move entire offices into our Jacksonville facilities due to the robust physical and digital infrastructure. How secure are the Colo5 colocation facilities? What about access control?
Physical and network security are extremely important when looking into colocations. Colo5 facilities are SSAE16 certified, so you can be sure the reliability, security, availability and integrity of our operations are always of the highest caliber.
Each individual entering the Jacksonville facility is provided with a photo identification badge and is given biometric access to only those areas that they require entry to. This includes employees, contractors, vendors, clients, and of course visitors.
Regarding network security, we realize the importance of your information and we take it very seriously, which is why we use industry standard equipment and procedures to ensure the network’s integrity. Firewalls filter and safeguard web traffic, automatically updated virus protection is installed on all servers and workstations, and each system maintains logs of all network and system activity for later use.
Our main building itself has reinforced concrete exterior walls, honeycomb steel mesh window covers capable of withstanding a 200mph projectile, steel roll-down doors on all entries, and is classified as a Category 5 bunker facility. It was built 22 feet above ground and contains a series of pumps to prevent water damage.
What kind of power and network infrastructure does the Colo5 facility have?
Power
Our SLA guarantees 99.99% power uptime, with N+1 redundant power and a 15,000-gallon diesel fuel tank to fuel three automatically activated 1250 KVA Cat diesel generators for several weeks of guaranteed runtime during a disaster. Each generator is tested weekly to ensure proper working order. Should the need arise, uninterrupted power supplies (UPS) systems prevent resets by keeping your equipment fully powered while the generators come online.
Network
Colo5’s network backbone consists of a multi-carrier, redundant solution that provides not only guaranteed uptime, but also a guarantee that the fastest possible connection is being utilized. This is done through intelligent BGP routing that identifies and utilizes the fastest route across Internet backbones. Redundant carriers include AT&T, Level3, Time Warner, Sprint, Quest, and Verizon.
Our entire Jacksonville network is designed around and built with reliable and industry-leading CISCO equipment.
Cooling
Independent Leibert air conditioning systems prevent overheating damage by maintaining proper temperatures for all your equipment.
